4 Days · In-Person · Ages 13–17
Acting. Improv. Real confidence. Lifelong friends. And a summer story they'll be telling for years.
Most teens go through summer bored, scrolling, invisible.
Yours could spend 4 days finding their voice — and never losing it again.
Laughter School is a 4-day in-person acting and improv intensive that turns shy teens into scene-stealers and quiet kids into confident communicators. No experience required. Just guts and a willingness to play.
Professional actor. Improviser. And the guy who warmed up the audience for one of the most-watched talk shows in television history.

Paul isn't someone who used to perform and now talks about it. He's an active working actor with screen credits across film, television, and short form — including roles in Night (TV Series, 2021–2023), Insane Like Me? (2024), Causeway (2022), Wicked Season (2024), General Hospital, and multiple features currently in production. When Paul teaches you something, it's because he does it himself — on real sets, for real cameras, in front of real audiences.
Improv isn't just a game — it's the skill that separates good performers from unforgettable ones. Paul has performed and taught improv at a professional level, and he's seen firsthand what it does to someone's confidence, timing, and ability to connect with an audience. At Laughter School, he teaches it the way it works in the real world — not theory, not drills, but the actual tools working performers use every single day.
Your teen isn't learning from someone who read about performing.
They're learning from someone who has done it — on network television,
on real film sets, and in front of real audiences.

Take the Stage
Jordan Fraker is a professional commercial portrait photographer with over 20 years of experience capturing people at their best. A BFA graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute, his work has appeared in Texas Monthly, D Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, Vice, SPIN, and dozens of other national and regional publications.
Jordan is an esteemed Associate Member of Headshots Matter — a global collective of the world's best headshot photographers — as well as a member of Found Artists. His commercial clients include Lexus, Terminix, the American Heart Association, Food Network, and HGTV, among many others.
He operates his studio in the landmark Goodyear Building in Dallas. On Day 4 of Laughter School, he's bringing that world-class eye directly to your teen.
Every camper gets a professional headshot session on Day 4 — the exact same caliber of work Jordan produces for working actors, models, and commercial talent. These aren't camp snapshots. These are career-starting materials. One headshot comes with the camp, with additional shots available for purchase directly from Jordan.
Professional headshots typically cost $300–$800+ on their own. Your teen leaves Laughter School with the skills to perform and the materials to get hired — a combination most young actors spend years and thousands of dollars trying to put together.
Every Laughter School instructor has performed professionally — on stage, on screen, or both. They don't just teach acting. They live it.
Lead Acting Coach
Ever since Paul emerged from the womb, he’s made literally tens of people laugh in places ranging from Dallas all the way to North Dallas. In 2024, Paul became the audience warm-up act for Dr. Phil Prime Time. He has also appeared on General Hospital and HBO, as well as commercials for Toyota, Avocados from Mexico, and Fossil. In addition to appearing on screen, for a few years Paul could also be found in the classroom back when he was a high school Math Teacher. Yes, he's both an actor and a nerd.
Lead Improv Coach
Drew Walton has been performing improv since before he moved to Texas back in 2015. One of the funniest human beings in the greater North Texas area, Drew has also taught summer youth improv camps for multiple summers - making him imminently qualified to both instruct and entertain your teen. When he's not on stage making things up, he can be found raising his daughter and/or playing board games.
Musical Improv Coach
Colten Winburn has been performing improv comedy since 2011 when he joined and eventually became president of the UNT Improv Club. He graduated from the improv program at the Dallas Comedy House in 2012 and ended up teaching improv and sketch comedy there for many years. Colten was added to the Four Day Weekend cast in 2018. As a lifelong musician, performing at Four Day Weekend has cultivated his love for improvising and music. Catch him performing at Four Day Weekend East in Dallas every Friday and Saturday night!
24 teens will walk away from this camp different. Make sure yours is one of them.
